Many Operations.
The facility is the SMS Equipment new flagship facility as they are consolidating several operations under one roof. Building usage is approximately 31,000 square feet of office, 15,000 square feet of warehouse, 30,000 square feet of shop and welding, 20,000 square feet of service space and 20,000 square feet of lunchroom, locker room, training room, safety/auxiliary space for a total square footage of 116,000. The office is conventional steel construction from local Edmonton fabricators and the crane loaded shop is a pre-engineered steel building supplied by VP Buildings.
