The Signature Flight Support Hangar #2 Door Expansion project was successfully completed to accommodate larger aircraft and optimize the full use of existing hangar space. The project involved deconstruction and reconstruction of the existing door leaves and pocket, resulting in a door system that allows for a wider opening. The project’s design utilized existing structural steel, which was modified to fit the new assembly. The work completed includes upgrades to the hangars existing drainage, electrical and fire suppression systems.
